Things I Didn’t Buy 30

I love the side of this artichoke crate.

And these Icicle wooden crates are quite nice.

I considered getting one of these pop crates, but decided I didn’t need them. And they were sooooo gross. I don’t mind the dirt so much, but there were so many open spider egg sacks.

This Pop Pom cigar box was cute.

And this Atlas train track packaging just amused me.

1956 Sears Catalog: Set 3

I love the blue sari-inspired dress, as well as the mustard yellow dress with the cute print.

I really like that red dress.

Cute floral print dresses.

Nice shirt dresses—I love the navy one.

I like the outfit on the right with the little bow.

And while these are all nice, I like the polka dot one in particular.

Things I Didn’t Buy 29

I liked this Sunkist juicer—so simple and clean.

These casserole dishes were cute.

And I liked these mixing bowls.

I almost bought this Osterizer glass jar. I liked the art on the top, but decided I didn’t really need another jar.

And finally, I also liked this bowling bag.

Bought for $6.73

I got this blue dress for $0.98. It looks like it’s from the 1980s. It’s a nice shade of blue with a texture pattern to it. I like the cut of the dress and thought it fit well. It’s totally within the style of Golden Girls…and I’m okay with that.

I bought this Tupperware measuring cup for $0.25. I thought the numbers were really interesting.

I got this pink and gray belt for $1.

And these fabrics for $3.50.

Things I Didn’t Buy 28

I saw a few lunchboxes that were a blast from the past. First, a New Kids on the Block lunchbox…the cartoon version of them.

A Popples lunchbox. I have vague memories of this cartoon (basically that the characters could make themselves into balls). But when I see the characters now, all I can think is: those characters are ugly.

A Strawberry Shortcake lunchbox.

At a thrift shop, I saw Star Wars framed art that a kid must have drawn. It was kind of endearing. This is the first one.

And here’s the second one.

1956 Sears Catalog: Set 2

Some more cute dresses.

I really like the one on the left with the cute piping and little buttons.

And the second one from the left—I love that little bolo jacket.

I think there are some cute outfits here, but that one second in from the left is just too much. Bows everywhere.

And some simple separates.
